1)
The proposed additional storey is insensitive and unsympathetic to the existing property and is not in keeping with the style, character, scale, bulk, proportion and rhythm of the main building and that of the terrace it forms part of, having a detrimental impact on the level of amenity for the surrounding properties and as such, would not preserve or enhance but would individually spoil and harm the existing simple uniform front elevation, the terrace of properties of which this one forms a part, and the Norland Conservation Area as a whole and is therefore contrary to the Council's Policies which seek to preserve and enhance the character and appearance of the Borough as stated in the Council's Core Strategy Policies CL01, CL02, CL03, CL05, and CL06, and the Unitary Development Plan Policies CD44, CD45, CD47, CD63.
