This case has not yet been decided.
The loss of this residential unit through the amalgamation of the two dwellings would reduce the supply and choice of housing available within the Borough and would fail to contribute towards meeting housing targets, and fail to address housing needs for the Borough and London as a whole, in not ensuring a net increase in residential accommodation. Therefore, the proposal would conflict with London Plan policy 3.14, Consolidated Local Plan policies CH1, CH2 and CH3 and the advice presented in the Mayor's Housing SPG 2016.
Refused/No pre-app or discussionTo assist applicants in finding solutions to problems arising in relation to their development proposals the Local Planning Authority has produced planning policies, and provided written guidance, all of which are available on the Council's website. A pre-application advice service is also offered.
In this case the proposal does not comply with guidance and policies. No pre-application discussions were entered into, but the Council is ready to enter into discussions with the applicants through the advice service to assist in the preparation of any new planning application.
