Decision: Refuse Planning Permission/Consent
Decision date: 13 Nov 2018
Conditions and reasons:

1)

By reason of its height, scale and bulk, the roof extension would disrupt the predominantly uniform historic butterfly roofline of this group of properties, and would fail to preserve the character and the appearance of the conservation area and harm the appearance of the property and group. Therefore, the development would be contrary to the statutory requirement for a conservation area, policies of the development plan, in particular Consolidated Local Plan policies CL1, CL2, CL3, CL6, CL8 and CL11, adopted July 2015 and the Norland Neighbourhood Plan policy N2, adopted March 2014.
