Because of their nature, sensitive locations, overall height and added bulk, the proposed extensions would harm the character and appearance of the application site, its paired property at 72, the wider group of buildings of which it forms part, the Norland Conservation Area and the Ladbroke Conservation Area to the east. As such, the proposed development fails to comply with the aims of CLP policies, CL1, CL2, CL3, CL9 and CL11 as well as policies N1, N3, N4, N6, N10B of the Norland Neighbourhood Plan.
