The proposed aluminium window frames would be discordant with the general character and appearance of properties within this terrace and would fail to preserve the character or appearance of the building, the terrace it forms part of or this part of the Norland Conservation Area. The proposed variation is therefore contrary to adopted policy including Core Strategy Policy CO5, CL1, CL2 and CL3, and 'saved' UDP policy CD63.
