The rear three storey half width extension to No. 56 Princedale Road is considered to be unacceptable by reason of its height extending above the general height of neighbouring and nearby extensions, and consequential bulk leading to an overdominance in relation to the parent building and associated visual harm to this terrace which neither preserves or enhances the character or appearances of the Conservation Area. The proposal is therefore contrary to policies contained within the "Conservation and Development" Chapter of the Unitary Development Plan, in particular Policies CD41, CD52 and CD53.
