Decision: Refuse Planning Permission/Consent
Decision date: 08 Mar 2017
Conditions and reasons:

The proposed summer house and store would be of a height and position that would intrude unacceptably upon the open garden setting and fail to preserve or enhance the character or appearance of the Norland Conservation Area. As such, the summer house would be contrary to policies of the development plan, in particular CL1, and CL3 of the Consolidated Local Plan and policy N7 of the Norland Neighbourhood Plan.

The proposed summer house would form a visually obtrusive addition within the garden that would harm the setting of this and neighbouring listed buildings, contrary to policy CL4 of the Consolidated Local Plan.
