The proposed roof level alterations and additions, due to their prominent locations, bulk, and detailed design, would be harmful to the special architectural and historic interest of the Grade II listed building and group of buildings, and the character and appearance of the Norland Conservation Area, contrary to Consolidated Local Plan Policies, in particular CL1, CL2, CL3, CL4, CL6, CL8 and CL11 as well as guidance provided within the Norland Conservation Area Proposals Statement plus policy N2 of the Norland Neighbourhood Plan.
