The approval hereby issued shall not be construed as authority to carry out works on the highway. The Highway Authority should be notified in accordance with the 'London Permit Scheme for Road Works and Street Works' and an appropriate permit obtained before any works are carried out on any footway, footpath, carriageway, verge or other land forming part of the highway.

It is expected that the operator will undertake regular inspections and take all reasonable steps to ensure that the cabinet hereby approved shall be properly maintained and kept free of graffiti, flyposting, or litter, so preserving the appearance of the Conservation Area.
