The proposed rear roof extension would constitute development permitted under Class B of Part 1 of The Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015, and the proposed rooflights to the front roof slope would constitute development permitted under Class C of Part 1 of The Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015. Planning permission would not, therefore, be required and the proposed alterations would be lawful, under current legislation.
