Decision: Prior Approval Required - Withheld
Decision date: 21 Sep 2017
Conditions and reasons:

Prior approval under Part 16, Schedule 2 (as amended) of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 2015 is hereby withheld on grounds of siting and appearance. The proposed telephone kiosk would form an obtrusive addition to existing street furniture harming the appearance of the street in views in both directions towards and past the kiosk, and has failed to demonstrate that the nearby street tree would be suitably protected from harm. As such, the proposed kiosk would be contrary to policies of the development plan, in particular CT1 CR4, CR6 and CL6.
