Because of their form and design the proposed rear extensions, in particular the double height glazed infill at upper ground and first floor, would harm the appearance of the property and fail to preserve the character and appearance of the conservation area, conflicting with policies of the development plan in particular policies CL1, CL2, CL3, CL9 and CL11 as well as the recommendations of the Kensington Consevation Area Appraisal.
