By virtue of their location, bulk and height the proposed rear infill extension and increase in height to the closet wing would harm the appearance of the property and fail to preserve the character and appearance of the conservation area, conflicting with policies of the development plan in particular policies CL1, CL2, CL3, CL9 and CL11 as well as the recommendations of the Kensington Consevation Area Appraisal.
