Fitness walks, buggy workouts and line dancing are just some of the free and low-cost activities on offer to Royal Borough residents this summer.
The Council’s ‘active for life’ summer programme is running until Friday 14 July and sessions range from £2 to £5 with many activities, such as fitness walks and Zumba, completely free. Tennis activators sessions are £5, with Holland Park Tennis sessions available from £10 for those looking for a more comprehensive tennis experience.
Other activities include cycling, gym club, Nordic walking and beginners T’ai Chi.
In addition to the regular activities, there are a number of events taking place over summer.
The Festival of Sport is taking place at Kensington Memorial Park on Saturday 1 July and the Disability Sports Coach Summer Festival will be at Westway Sports and Fitness Centre on Friday 28 July.
