Kensington and Chelsea’s principal Act of Remembrance will take place on Remembrance Sunday (11 November) at the War Memorial in Sloane Square at 10.55am.
It will be led by the Mayor of Kensington and Chelsea, Cllr Marie-Therese Rossi who will be joined by councillors, other civic leaders, members of the armed forces (past and serving), cadets and representatives of many community organisations.
The ceremony will be followed by a Service of Remembrance in Holy Trinity Church, Sloane Street, SW1X 9BZ.
The Deputy Mayor, Cllr Mohammed Bakhtiar, will be present at the Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial in Kensington High Street, also on Sunday at 10.55am, which will be followed by a Service of Remembrance in St. Mary Abbots Church, W8 4LA.
