Update - registered European voters

23 May 2019

Kensington and Chelsea wrote to all 16,594 existing registered European voters. All letters were posted out on 23 April 2019. This was to inform them that they would need to complete the UC1 form if they intended to vote in Kensington and Chelsea. We had 2,610 who returned forms to say they wished to vote here. All 2,610 were sent a poll card and letter to confirm their decision and eligibility to vote here.

As a comparison, in 2014 we wrote to all 21,239 European voters and 3,199 said they would be voting in the UK.

However, please note that in the 2014 EU elections there was a period of five months to plan and prepare.
