Showcase your talent

InTRANSIT are looking to showcase the extensive musical talent in Kensington and Chelsea and celebrate its musical diversity in an interactive, online and mobile music installation. We need a short clip of you playing your instrument, singing, speaking, dancing or creating music otherwise!

Your clips will be used to create Musicjelly, an interactive piece that allows members of the audience to become the composers of music at the touch of a button. In the installation, four touch-screens in the centre of the room are the controllers that the audience uses to trigger the visual loops as the rest of the audience experience the different combinations that are being created on large projection screens and surround sound.

The Installation contributors will be promoted via the online and mobile app for InTransit that would feature artists from Kensington and Chelsea, a lasting engaging experience for everyone to download and play with. Information about each contributor is featured so that everyone can learn about the person behind each sound, the location where the loop was recorded and their connection to the borough.

Independent musicians, classical musicians, dancers, amateur musicians, random borough sounds or even spoken word can all co-exist in these palettes for everyone to create combined moments of the musical Kensington and Chelsea community.

For more information and details on the recordings required please contact us on the email address below. For a current example of this work go to
