Sometimes a question can lead you down a dangerous path. When an American Drama Student started to ask questions about why she had to pay for the toilet, she found herself plunged in deeper than she had imagined. From attending a Toilet Carnival in Indonesia to running a singles-night themed around, toilets adventures have kept her flush with excitement, always wondering what’s around the next u-bend..

Join the Official Loo Lady on a journey through the streets of Kensington and Chelsea, weaving together stories of local heroes - particularly the eponymous Thomas Crapper who lived and worked in the borough - and the trials and tribulation of toilets and the people that run and use them.

What tour-guests have said:
“So much more than a ‘bog standard’ tour!”
“My face hurts from laughing.”

About the Artist

Rachel Erickson’s obsession with toilets began with a personal quest to avoid paying 30p to use the train station loos. Having never considered any career but a theatrical one she dived blindly in and started London Loo Tours, which quickly turned from a joke to a full-time occupation. Loo Tours have been featured on London Live, BBC and Al Jazeera and  Radio 4’s Costing The Earth.
