Food Waste Recycling Survey

Around 30 per cent of rubbish we throw away in Kensington and Chelsea is food waste. Since February 2018 around 2,000 properties in the south of the borough have been invited to participate in a weekly food waste recycling collection service. Using this service all food waste can be recycled, instead of being sent for incineration. This is much better for the environment.

Those participating were given a small indoor kitchen caddy, a larger outdoor caddy with a lockable lid, a six month supply of liners for the kitchen caddy and a detailed service information leaflet.

Please help us by completing this short survey giving your views on the scheme. Your views will be handled in the strictest confidence. The closing date for responses is 15 June 2018.

Your information will only be used for the intended purpose, we will not collect any additional information about yourself, we will not share your data with other Council Departments and or external bodies. In some cases, the Council may use your information for another purpose if it has a legal duty to do so, to provide a complete service to you, or if there is a risk of serious harm or threat to life. The Council will retain your information in accordance with our retention schedule and it will be held securely.
