Many people will be familiar with this view. Kensington High Street is one of the most popular shopping areas in London. Most visitors arrive here on the tube. Despite this the roads are always busy and the pavements packed. All the familiar high street names are represented on the high street. The entrance to the shopping arcade leading to the station can be seen under the clock.
Although the shops at street level are new the floors above can be easily identified in the next picture. The building on the corner with Wright's Lane is a more recent addition replacing a much loved Kensington store, Pontings.
