The registrars from the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea are throwing open their doors to all on a public Open Day. Couples can take a look inside the world-famous Chelsea Register Office and view the ceremony rooms.
Our registrars will be on hand to give advice on legal paperwork and planning a ceremony. Legal and financial experts will be available to offer free advice on everything from family law and taxation to pensions and probate.
Whether or not you live in Kensington and Chelsea, Getting Married or Forming a Civil Partnership is a special occasion and choosing the right location for your ceremony is just as important.

The Chelsea Old Town Hall is a beautiful and stylish building located on The Kings Road, Chelsea that houses the famous Chelsea Register Office and four other Approved Venues.
We have long been famous as a marriage venue. We will use our expertise when arranging Civil Partnership Registrations — whether you want to have a simple Registration or include a non-legal Civil Partnership Ceremony as part of your celebrations.
Already over 100 couples have booked their Civil Partnership Registrations with us. The first of these will be taking place on Wednesday, 21 December 2005.
