The Brydon Room is a beautiful and stylish venue offering a unique setting for your special day. This spacious room is located on the first floor of Chelsea Old Town Hall and is able to seat parties of up to 40 people (bride, groom, and up to 38 guests). The room is decorated with fresh floral arrangements, however you are welcome to provide a small arrangement of your own for the ceremonial desk.
One of the advantages in choosing The Brydon Room as your venue is that this room is yours for a full hour. This not only means that you can customise your ceremony with readings and music but you can take your time, ensuring that not only yourselves but your guests can relax and enjoy the experience.
For a marriage, this additional time also means that you and your partner can be interviewed separately by the Registrar (a legal requirement) prior to the ceremony. This means that the first time you see each other will be when you stand side by side to take your vows thus maintaining an important bridal tradition.
Your ceremony will last no more than an hour.
