About Consultation – Statement of Consultation Principles

As a Council we are committed to serving the community as well as we can and providing the best value services we can. Hearing the views of local residents and businesses is vital in helping us achieve our aims.

We have adopted a Statement of Consultation Principles so that local people know:

  • Why the Council consults
  • How it will fulfil its commitment to maintaining good quality consultation
  • What they can expect from the Council when they are being consulted
