The 6th Environmental Policy Statement Interim Review

To ensure that progress on the 6th Environmental Policy Statement (EPS) is reported, the Council has committed to undertaking an Interim Review. This review was carried out over winter and spring of 2005 to identify progress against the EPS objectives stated in 2003.

To see the latest progress reports see the Environmental Policy Action Plan section of this webpage. Progress reports follow naturally from each Action Plan.

The 6th EPS is due to end in summer 2006, when the 7th EPS will be implemented (this is currently under development). To coincide with the end of the 6th EPS, a final review of achievements will be carried out and posted on this site.
