The Royal Borough’s new housing Allocation Scheme became fully operational on 2 July, 2007. During the development of the scheme, it was agreed that a full review would be carried out after it had been in operation for at least twelve months.
In order to give us your views and help us assess the scheme’s impact, you are invited to complete this on-line questionnaire
The Council is facing a serious financial challenge in continuing to provide Kensington and Chelsea’s tenants and leaseholders with the standard of service they currently enjoy.
The Royal Borough is determined to maintain the housing stock properly and provide the sort of three star service that our tenants and leaseholders expect and deserve.
For more information on the changes that will affect how council housing is funded in the future, and the ways in which this will affect the way your home is managed, visit the Your home, Your future page.

In order to provide residents with every opportunity to effectively comment on the Council’s Stock Options Review, the Council has engaged TACT@DOME, an Independent Tenant and Leaseholder Advisor (ITLA).
The ITLA is providing residents with independent advice and information throughout the review process, and you can go along to any of their Insight Group meetings running through to March 2009.
The selection of TACT@DOME as an ITLA to work here in the Royal Borough was led by a group of residents, known as the Scrutiny Group, who also now help the Council to assess how well TACT@DOME perform, and act as a sounding board to help guide TACT@DOME in their work here.
The Scrutiny Group is looking for up to 3 new members. If you would like to be part of the ITLA Scrutiny Group you can download more information and a short application form HERE, or call the Council’s Housing Stock Options team for an informal discussion on 0207 361 3014. The closing date for completed applications is Wednesday 14th January 2009.
