Cllr James Husband Cabinet Member for Education and Libraries is responsible for local schools, adult and community education and the library service. (Note: in respect of the schools and children's services only, Cllr Husband works to the overall direction set by the Cabinet Member for Family and Children's Services.)

Cllr Mark Daley is the lead member supporting Cllr Husband.
