Cllr Merrick Cockell is Leader of the Council and is responsible for developing overall strategic and financial plans, appointing other Cabinet Members and allocating portfolios, communicating with the public and others, speaking up on matters of local concern, forming partnerships with others and leading on the new Local Strategic Partnership.
Councils seem to be getting quite a lot of stick over the way they are attempting to regulate people’s behaviour. With this in mind I want to open a debate with you about just how much and how we should regulate.
In this video Cllr Merrick Cockell outlines the key issues facing the Council over the coming year.
