Consultation on the second community strategy

Consultation on the second Community Strategy took place in between 2004 and 2005. The Partnership undertook four strands of consultation activities including:

  1. Strand 1: Broad-based consultation using Residents’ Panel, invitations to respond in writing, website and e-mail surveys.
  2. Strand 2: Thematic engagement using existing networks and planned activities.
  3. Strand 3: Specific, targeted workshops with members of the community who may not have had the opportunity to get involved in the past.
  4. Strand 4: “Commissioned” developmental activities, where local communities of interest were supported to provide feedback in ways that they felt were more useful and appropriate to them.
