Planning Unitary Development Plan
The consultation on the Draft Tall Buildings SPD has now closed. The SPD will be adopted by April 2009.
The draft Tall Buildings Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) will form part of the Local Development Framework. The SPD sets out the Council’s requirements relating to provide a physical analysis context and policy for the planning and development of tall buildings in the Borough. The draft SPD supports Unitary Development Plan Policies on conservation and design.
The draft SPD, together with all other supporting documents, are available below. However, copies of the documents are available for inspection at the Planning Information Desk, Town Hall and at all local libraries in the Royal Borough.
The comments raised during the consultation will be recorded. Officers will consider a response and propose amendments to the SPD and/or Sustainability Appraisal where appropriate. The final SPD, together with the schedule of comments and officer responses, will then be presented to Councillors for approval.
