The main swimming pool is 33 metres long and 15 metres wide. There is a moveable boom and floor system in the deep end, so the pool length can be reduced to 25 metres at certain times. This creates the 'boom' pool, which is used for aqua aerobics, swimming lessons and public swimming when the teaching pool is closed.
At other times public swimming is available at 33 metres, but it is advisable to check the pool timetable in advance.
There is a hoist in place to enable those with physical disabilities to access the pool.
There is spectator seating available.
The pool water is maintained above 27º C (80º F).
The teaching pool is 15 metres long by 10 metres wide. The slightly warmer water, maintained above 30º C, is ideal for mothers and babies and young children.
Important: Children aged nine years and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult (16 years old+) at all times whilst in the centre.
