There are many ways in which you can help improve community safety in your neighbourhood and support victims of crime:
Kensington and Chelsea Police are considering a local cadet scheme. The Royal Borough scheme would follow others across the Metropolitan Police Service area.
Cadets can perform tasks such as the test purchasing of alcohol, fireworks and knives and involvement in local events. They also get involved in London-wide deployments such as Trooping the Colour, Remembrance Day parades, London Marathon and charity events.
Cadet Units meet once a week and usually include a drill/inspection, physical activity, a guest speaker or input on a police related topic. Cadet Units involve themselves in other activities at weekends and in school holidays such as camping trips.
