Local Direct Gov Take Up Campaign

15 Key Services

The Government wants to encourage more people to use their local authority websites. It has initiated a special 'Take Up Campaign' to encourage people to use 15 Key Services. See below.

The Government estimate that efficiency savings of 1.8 billion euro could be achieved if enough customers convert to using e-channels. It typically costs 12p to support a customer completing an online transaction, compared with £2 for telephone support and £9 for face-to-face support.
