Best Bar None 2014
The Royal Borough is launching its annual Best Bar None awards on Monday 7 April. Now in its seventh year, the scheme has become one of the largest in the country and aims to recognise the best pubs, bars and clubs in Kensington and Chelsea. It gives our licensees the opportunity to demonstrate their excellent management standards and how they minimise any disturbance to neighbours.
Landlords and managers of all the borough's pubs, bars and clubs will be able to submit applications from now until Friday 6 June, with the awards presentation taking place in November 2014.
The scheme currently has 53 pub, bar and club members across the borough and is supported by Diageo Great Britain and the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington.
In 2013 Janet's Bar, in Old Brompton Road, one of the founder members of the scheme, was the overall winner for the second time. Janet's Bar has continued to raise its own standards, work in partnership with the Council and others, and also displays excellent management practices.
