Forward Plan explained
You will be able to see what issues are coming up because they
will be published in the Forward Plan and called Key Decisions.
To view it on this website see Forward
Plan. A printed copy of the plan is available at the Kensington Central
Library.
Key decisions are those executive side matters not already
delegated to officers which:
- involves income or expenditure of £100,000 or more; and/or
- is likely to have a significant impact on the community in one
or more electoral wards
Items will be put on the plan well in advance; it will be
updated monthly and include key decisions planned for the next four
months.
Each item will show the name of the decision-maker, along with
other information, including the date the decision is expected to
be taken and any planned public consultation.
This will give you time to research your subject.
Agendas for all meetings are also published at least three days
in advance. Copies are available from Kensington Town
Hall and Kensington Central
Library.
Meetings are advertised in advance on some poster sites and in
Royal Borough, the Council newspaper delivered free to all homes
and businesses in the Borough.
The newsletter is published four times a year - March, June,
September and December.
Decisions will be published as they are taken. If you have a
query about the Forward Plan or a particular Key Decision email the
Cabinet
Co-ordinator.
