Determined admission arrangements for 2013-14

In accordance with the Education (Determination of Admission Arrangements) (England) Regulations 2012 notice is hereby given that admission authorities in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea  that were required to consult, must place their determined admission arrangements for 2013/14 on the Royal Borough website, or provide a link to the admissions page for the respective school.

Admissions authorities that did not propose changes to their admissions arrangements are also required to publish their determined arrangements by 1 May each year.

Under regulation 22 of the School Admissions Regulations 2012 (England) any person or body who considered that any maintained school or academy's arrangements are unlawful, or not in compliance with the Code or relevant law relating to admissions, can make an objection to the school adjudicator. The following types of objections cannot be brought:

b) objections about own authority admission's decision to increase or keep the same PAN;

c) objections about a decision by the admission authority of a voluntary-controlled or community to school to increase or keep the same PAN, unless the objection is brought by the governing body of the school;

d) objections in respect of an agreed variation from the code in relation to admission arrangements for an Academy;

e) objections to arrangements which raise the same or substantially the same matters as the adjudicator has decided on for that school in the last two years; and

f) anonymous objections.

Objections should be sent to the Secretary, the Office of the Schools Adjudicator, Mowden Hall, Staindrop Road, Darlington DL3 9BG by 30 June 2012. Email: OSA.TEAM@dcsf.gsi.gov.uk
