Appeals

If you have been refused a place for your child at a school you applied for, you have the right to appeal against the decision.

The Royal Borough administer  and present the appeals on behalf of  Holland Park School and Kensington Aldridge Academy.

 

Timetable for appeals for Holland Park School and Kensington Aldridge Academy for entry September 2014.

Secondary Transfer (11+)  2014/2015

  •  3 March 2014 – Notification letters sent
  •  24 March 2014 - Deadline for appeals to be submitted to be heard by the end of the summer term
  •  June 2014 - Appeal hearings to take place

Primary reception 2014/2015 for community schools

  • 16 April 2014 - Notification letters sent
  • 15 May 2014 - Deadline for appeals to be submitted to be heard by the end of the summer term
  •  June/July 2014 - Appeal hearings to take place

If you have been refused a place at one of the Royal Borough voluntary aided (church) schools. Ark Swift Academy or Chelsea Academy, you will need to ask the respective school for an appeal form. Each school will have their own arrangements for appeals, but they will be either the same or similar to the above timetable.
