Tom Vague is a music journalist, film critic and local historian. After covering the punk and reggae scene in the fanzine Vague and the music mag Zigzag, he has published the ‘London Psychogeography’ series of local history booklets, written liner notes for the Clash ‘London Calling’ CD set, programmes for the Portobello Film Festival, and Hollywood W11 – the Notting Hill films documentary. tvague@historytalk.org.

About this walk: Tom Vague takes us on a stroll through the Antiques Market, evaluating such rock curiosities as the Beatles, the Beachboys, Van Morrison, Cat Stevens, Status Quo, Motörhead, Sex Pistols, Virgin - from Mike Oldfield to Culture Club, Dire Straits and Lords of the New Church.
