EDF Energy
EDF Energy is proud to support the Royal
Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and
Westminster City Councils' 'Flagship' project.
This is part of our commitment to help reduce
energy consumption, lower energy bills and to
cut carbon emissions.
At EDF Energy we have been providing grants
towards the cost of energy efficiency measures
since 1994 as part our Energy Efficiency
Commitment (EEC) Programme. We have invested
over £30 million on a wide range of initiatives
including home insulation, low energy lighting,
heating improvements and energy efficient
appliances.
Over 3.5 million measures have been provided
to date and around 50 per cent of funding has
been aimed at low–income households. In doing
so, we have helped our customers save millions
on their energy running costs and reduced carbon
emissions by nearly 200,000 tonnes.
EDF Energy, part of EDF Energy, works very
closely with Private and Social Housing
providers to deliver a large part of this
programme. To find out more about our many
energy saving programmes please contact Robin
