Lower ground floor

The entire lower ground floor is a self contained two-bedroom flat with its own patio garden.
As part of the project the Council gave planning permission for the lower ground floor to be converted into a self-contained flat. The aim was to increase the rental income from this floor and use this money to offset some of the costs of renovating the house to specific energy efficiency standards.
Ground floor

This floor contains three bedsits. One of the bedsits has its own kitchen and bathroom, complete with shower and toilet.
The other two bedits each have a kitchen and shower. People living in these two bedsits share a toilet.
First floor

This floor has three bedsits each with their own kitchen and shower but with a shared toilet.
All the bedsits on this floor have a galleried or loft style beds to maximise the use of space in the room. This is possible because these type of houses traditionally have very high ceilings in first floor rooms.
Second floor

This floor has three bedsits each with their own kitchen and shower but with a shared toilet.
Third floor

This floor has three bedsits each with their own kitchen and shower but with a shared toilet.
Fourth floor

This floor has three bedsits each with their own kitchen and shower but with a shared toilet.
Top Floor

This floor was an addition to the house. It was built using modern methods to maximise energy efficiency. The aim was to increase the rental income of the house and offset some of the refurbishment costs.
