About the Isaac Newton Centre

Since its official opening by HRH The Princess Margaret in May 1991, The Isaac Newton Centre has gained a reputation as one of the finest development and training centres servicing education in London. Whether the event you are organising is for 10, 20 or 80 people, its success depends to a great extent on the venue you choose and on the flexibility of the facilities provided. Our staff are highly experienced and our conference centre is fully equipped with up to date technical facilities.

The Centre is extensively used by other organisations within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea as well as outside professional and commercial bodies. The Isaac Newton Centre is part of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Family and Children’s Services Business Group.

The Isaac Newton Centre aims to:

  • be a centre of excellence as a conference venue for Council officers and external clients
  • be a cost effective facilitator for school, local, regional and national early and continuing professional development opportunities of quality for teachers and support staff in schools aimed at raising the achievement of all pupils
  • provide of a cost effective and efficient administrative base for teams based at the centre
