Kensington and Chelsea Chamber of Commerce (KCCC) is a not-for-profit voluntary association of businesses in Kensington and Chelsea, which exists to promote mutually beneficial business and other interests of members, as well as the general economic well-being of the borough.
The chamber is run by an Executive Council of 12 to 18 voluntary directors and an office staff of one part-time paid co-ordinator and three very part time helpers. Virtually everything is done on a good-will, voluntary basis. KCCC also make small donations to local charities when funds allow.
Kensington and Chelsea Chamber of Commerce is essentially a social and networking association, which enjoys a varied and inspirational programme of events. The first Tuesday club meetings often invite expert guest speakers. Occasional functions are held at various prestige venues in the area.
Kensington and Chelsea Chamber of Commerce consults with the Council and partners on environmental and employment initiatives, learning and skills improvements, support for new and small businesses, incoming investment, the Visitor Management Strategy, neighbourhood regeneration, planning and licensing. |
