Kensington and Chelsea Community Sport and Physical Activity
Network (CSPAN)
The CSPAN was officially launched on 8 May 2008 at
Kensington Leisure Centre by Mayor Joanna Gardener. The CSPAN
encourages local partners to work together to increase the
opportunities for all in the community to participate in sport and
physical activity.
The main aim of the Kensington and Chelsea
CSPAN is to increase participation in sport and active recreation
and widen access to opportunities within the Royal Borough of
Kensington and Chelsea based on the specific needs of the
community. This will be achieved by encouraging partnership
working, enhancing communication between partners and sharing
resources and expertise.
