Health walks
There are five walks in Kensington and Chelsea that run all
year round (some with exception of bank holidays). The walks are
all free of charge and open to all - they are suitable for all
fitness levels and we particularly encourage beginners to join
in. Please wear suitable shoes as it can get muddy, and
please bring a raincoat. You may also want to bring a small amount
of money for a drink at the end of the walk.
The walks are led by trained volunteer leaders. There is a
leader at the front of the group and, at the very back, 'a back
marker' leader ensures that no one is left behind. Walkers are
encouraged to walk at a brisk pace, the emphasis however, is on the
walkers' brisk pace, not the leaders'.
