Please note that on Thursday 4 June, Notting Hill Gate Library will be used as a Polling Station and therefore closed for normal library business.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Work will commence shortly to replace the water-damaged ceiling areas at Notting Hill Gate Library. The Grade 1 listed Adam-style ceiling was severely damaged in 2008. Mouldings will be made to restore the ceiling to its former glory; work will also be carried out to redecorate the front entrance and lobby of the building.
Meanwhile, the Library will remain open offering a slightly reduced service until these essential building works are complete. Baby Rhyme Time sessions are still suspended but the Reading Group is running.
Please check the website for further updates.
