Contact the Carnival Archive Study Resource

The Carnival Resource has been, and continues to be, collected for use by students studying Carnival on the BA in performing arts.

The resource is also visited by students, academics, teachers and journalists from outside the University, from the UK as well as from mainland Europe, the Caribbean and U.S.A. Visitors to the Resource have also contributed items to the collection and such reciprocity is greatly valued.

At present much of the collection is housed somewhat informally in the Library at Trent Park as well as elsewhere on the campus. The next step is to raise the necessary funding to employ an archivist to attend to the proper preservation and cataloguing of the material.

Anyone from outside the University wishing to make use of the Carnival Archive and Study Resource is welcome to make contact with Ruth by phone, email or letter so that the library can be advised of the visit and material made available. The collection exists to be used.
