Sound Systems

All sound systems in Carnival are authorised by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster in conjunction with the British Association of Sound Systems (Bass). For more information email Carnival@rbkc.gov.uk.

Monitoring Noise Levels

Environmental Health are responsible for the monitoring of noise levels from these Sound Systems and ensuring they are set up safely,  in the correct place and that all sound systems operators undergo safety training.

The Street Trading aspect is dealt with by Waste Management and Leisure Enforcement Officers.
