It's all about artistic excellence, access and affordability in the lovely gardens of Holland Park.

This is your invitation to join and directly contribute to the education programme and the further development of Opera Holland Park and young singers.

Donate to the Friends

The Friends rely heavily on additional voluntary donations to continue to support opera excellence, access and affordability through the inspiring work of Opera Holland Park. In 2007, the Friends not only sponsored a performance of L'amore dei tre Re but also supported a remarkable Free Ticket Scheme for young people, with 1200 free tickets for 44 public performances.

Many young people took advantage and nearly 60 per cent of those were attending opera for the very first time. Donations are vital to enlarge these programmes and reach a younger audience. To donate to the Friends please contact us

Ambassadors

Ambassador membership is a recent initiative, with the aim to provide a more secure future for Opera Holland Park. Ambassadors help to ensure that the remarkable improvement and high standards achieved in the last few years will be sustained and more new talent sought out.

Ambassadors are a group of only 100 individuals who, by donating a total of £3,000 over three years, have the unique opportunity to become more involved with the Friends as well as the opera company, for which they receive many additional benefits. Volunteer to help the Friends

The Friends are a small, growing organisation. We are seeking volunteers to assist in the day to day management and planning of the organisation as well as running events or lending whatever time you may have available. To volunteer please contact us. All help is warmly welcomed.

Who are the Friends?

Opera Holland Park Friends (OHPF) is a charity founded to broaden the appreciation and appeal of opera, through educational events and support of Opera Holland Park's mission of providing quality, affordable opera to all - and particularly young people. By becoming a Friend you help to:

• Raise funds to contribute to the costs of the artistic and educational programmes for each season.
• Run educational events for schools.
• Organise lectures to enhance the appreciation of opera.
• Create a community network that helps support our work and that of Opera Holland Park.
