Department of Building Control

Building Regulations

The Department of Building Control is responsible for ensuring that building work in the Royal Borough meets the standards of the building regulations.

In addition our team of surveyors are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to respond to reports of dangerous buildings and structures.

  • Make a Naming and Numbering application
  • Find out about the Competent Person Scheme
