Current Consultations
Core Strategy with a Focus on North Kensington
We have now published ‘The Royal Borough’s Draft Core Strategy
with a particular focus on North Kensington’. This document takes
account of the comments made on the consultations undertaken on the
“Places” and “Strategic Sites” in spring this year and the “Towards
Preferred Options” stage of autumn 2008.
Whilst we hope that the structure and content of this document
will be that of the final Core Strategy we do note that it is still
very much in draft form and we would welcome any comments you may
have on it.
The consultation period for the document runs from 24th
July 2009 for six weeks. Your comments must be submitted
to the Council by midday on 4th September 2009. As
we intend to submit our Core Strategy to the Government in October
we will be working to some tight deadlines. We intend to
analyse all the comments received, and to make any amendments to
the Core Strategy, as soon as possible after the end of the
consultation. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that
any comments received after midday on the 4th September will be
taken into account.
You can view the document and comment on it at http://ldf-consult.rbkc.gov.uk/portal.
The document can also be viewed at all Council libraries and in
the Planning Information Office at the Town Hall from 27th July
2009. Hard copies of the document can be obtained by contacting the
Policy Team on 020 7361 3879 or by email at PlanningPolicy@rbkc.gov.uk.
