Revisions to the Planning Application Validation Checklist
The proposed revisions to the Planning Application Validation
Checlist are in relation to the intention that all planning
applications determined on and from 4 July 2011 will be
subject to the Planning Obligations SPD, not just major
applications.
This requirement will be particularly relevant to planning
applications which involve a net increase in residential units.
Planning applications for development will be subject to planning
obligations and, in order to comply with the SPD, will need to be
accompanied with a Planning Obligations Statement.
The proposed revisions are shown in bold red in the documents
under consultation which are available to download below.
The consultation on both validation documents runs from Friday 6
May to Friday 1 July 2011. Consultation will close at 5pm on Friday
1 July. Comments can be submitted via e-mail to planningpolicy@rbkc.gov.uk
